The first level deals with the operations that are the responsibility of Customer operators and includes all actions listed as user responsibility in the operators, supervisors, and maintenance manuals. These are limited to simple routine tasks and safety procedures. These will be fully explained and confirmed in the acceptance training period.
The second level consists first in analyzing the breakdown and in replacing the subsets or elements provided for the purpose and secondly in installing possible subsystem upgrades; this work will be performed by Green Stations supported by Green Stations as required. Essentially most preventive and corrective maintenance is covered by this level of maintenance.
The third level consists in analyzing the breakdown and in repairing the fault by changing components or modifying the software; this work is performed by Green Stations and may be supported by OEM's. This level of maintenance is rare.
